The castle of Chareil-Cintrat is dating from the 16th century and has numerous exceptional wall paintings. Listed as a historical monument in 1954. Visits between the 15th of June and the 15th of September.

The military fortress of Billy was built in the 12th century, and is located near the medieval village of Billy. A guide will explain to you the history of this site and will tell you stories about this former military base. A scale model of the castle is present on the site. A great view on the Val d'Allier is visible from the ramparts of the castle.
