For a whole weekend in early June each year, the magnificent city of Reims pays tribute to the coronation of Charles VII on the occasion of Les Fêtes Johanniques plunging the inhabitants and its visitors into the universe of the Middle Ages, they take place in the cathedral of the city. A hundred craftsmen and camelots mobilize to make the city a place entirely medieval thanks to their period costumes. The streets will be animated by jugglers and troubadours participating in the popular joy.

Shows will be organized to enjoy with family as well as falconry, initiation to the use of weapons of the time, wool spinning workshops or stone cutting, Celtic or Arab-Andalusian music concerts and finally wanderings festive of costumed groups.
The historical reconstruction of the procession of coronation is one of the most awaited moments of the festival, it recalls the arrival of the Jeannes d'Arc and the dolphin in the city of Reims.
