Picasso, the eternal feminine quimper

Built from the rich collections of the Fundación Picasso graphics of Malaga, the exhibition will be presented in Quimper, then Pau, decline the importance of female model in the work of Pablo Picasso.

Through a selection of 67 prints and products between the years 1927 and 1964 drawings, the public will discover the many changes that the artist has created around the " eternal feminine ." Several sections will emphasize the diversity of its sources of inspiration , and we will discover the amazing creativity of the painter demiurge . We may share such intimacy of the artist and admire the beautiful portraits of his wives or companions (Françoise Jacqueline ... ) , get excited for his literary passions ( Góngora , Balzac ... ) or even immerse themselves in its incessant quotes pictorial Italian Renaissance in the Spanish Golden Age through Matisse.

Exciting and original in that it reveals the many facets around the central theme of women in the work of Picasso , this exhibition is a first in France with the proposed selection and permitted by the Fundación Picasso Malaga.
