Provins medieval


The 35th edition of Les Médiévales de Provins is held this year as every year since 1984 in the beautiful city of Provins, a city that is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This sumptuous medieval event is one the most important in Europe, setting up an unforgettable journey to the heart of the Middle Ages with life-size historical reenactment of the Champagne Fair, buildersn dances, encampments, craftsmen and jugglers, Street performers, musicians, waders, crowd entertainers from all over Europe gather at Les Médiévales de Provins to liven up the streets and bring joy and good humor to the city.

The encampments at the foot of the reparts plunge the visitors and the inhabitants of the city into the daily life of the time. There will also be some of the past that will be exhibited as works of arts, jawelry, fabrics, costumes, musical instruments and many more.

For children, there will be entertainment through activities and medieval games such as bowling, shuffleboard or wooden sword.
