Lac de Saint-Cassien


 St. Cassian's Lake is located in the Var's department, Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, more precisely in the Fayence's country. This lake " of dam" is located at the entrance of the gorge Biançon, and extends over 4 towns: Tanneron Montauroux, Callian and Adrets Esterel.


The Lake was originally intended to power a hydroelectric plant. But it became over time the busiest site of Fayence's country, very popular with bathers and fishermen. As the matter of fact, it offers its visitors a variety of activities, from hiking to water sports such as rowing.
