Musée du bâtiment

The musée du Bâtiment is unique in France, located in a beautiful half-timbered house dating from the eighteenth century which hosted the Compagnons du Devoir. The muse du Bâtiment was born from the will of architects and contractors of Moulins.

It is dedicated to the historical developments and methods used for the construction and building: plans, tools, technics, models, know-how, drawings... The muse du Bâtiment houses a permanent exhibition but also several temporary exhibitions all year long on the ground floor of the museum. Children are not forgotten, as workshops are held several days a week.
