Musée Départemental d'Art Ancien et Contemporain

The Musée Départemental d'Art Ancien et Contemporain was created in 1822. It is located at the heart of he city, Epinal. It is one of the most important museum of the region, Lorraine.

The quality of the works is reputed. The museum owns one of the main and huge collections with around 30.000 objects and works of art. The collections are from prehistoric times to XIXth century. 

The museum has been extended in 1922 and offers a 4.000m² area of exhibitions to its visitors.
