Tsukioka kogyo (1869-1927) , japanese prints


The exhibition will feature some 70 prints from the series One hundred parts Noh Tsukioka Kogyo , one of the masters of printmaking Meiji and Taisho of the era.

Models of mastery and artistic refinement, they are real treasures , works of a subtle and delicate artist of the early twentieth century. These prints of rare elegance, also a historical documentation of the costumes and theatrical performances Noh .
