Eglise Sainte Jeanne d'Arc de Rouen

Inaugurated in 1979, the Church of St. Joan of Arc is a beautiful example of an alloy between contemporary architecture and stained glass windows dating from the sixteenth century. Indeed, the Church of St. Joan of Arc was built to replace the old church of Saint Vincent, destroyed during the war. The stained glass windows of this old church, however, have been saved and carefully preserved. The architect of the new contemporary church has managed to turn them into master of contemporary architecture in a very harmonious. The surprising architecture of the Church of St. Joan of Arc impresses with its ingenious wooden vault.
