Château de Careil

Careil Castle is a house located in the French fortified town of Guerande the Loire-Atlantique and the Pays de Loire region. Built from the late fourteenth century it was enlarged during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.

Under the reform, he served as a fulcrum to Protestants Guérande. A third wing is not reached us, it was destroyed by an accidental fire in the eighteenth century. In 1924, the castle was transformed into a restaurant. It is now occupied year-round, and is transformed into a tourist site.
