Abbaye des bénédictins d'Auchy


The Abbey of Auchy-les-Moines was founded around 700 by Saint-Sylvain and has been devoted to Saint-Georges.

It does not lack originality, with its facade which overlap a gate of the XIII century, a large Gothic windows and a gable ended with a classic facade added in 1840. The whole is framed by tall towers topped polygonal of XVIII century picturesque slate roofs.
