The science festival

Each year, the Fête de la Science is under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research throughout France.

This initiative, which aims to make science and its multiple disciplines accessible to as wide a public as possible, was created in 1991.

On the agenda of each edition, workshops, exhibitions, laboratory visits, meetings with scientists, science forums are organized throughout the country, through regional coordination.

Thus, each region celebrates science by preparing multiple events, with at the top of the list the free Science Villages, where all scientific fields are represented, or large-scale operations in museums, natural sites or laboratories, true '' scientific walks ''.

The animations are intended for all ages and are especially for children, who will discover, who knows, a future vocation?

The 2012 edition of the Fête de la Science will be held from October 10 to 14, throughout France.

With more than a thousand events planned, difficult to enter here in the details of the program, well provided.

The festival in Ile-de-France, Alsace or Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, this event is divided into different regions: on the site of the Fête de la Science, you can consult the detailed program of everything that happens around you
