Noël au pérou


For Christmas 2014, Lille hosts a special exhibition by the discovery of Christmas traditions through a country that celebrates this festival with great fervor and passion.

PERU, magical land, the cradle of civilization INCA whose references are always current, has a craft developed by master craftsmen unparalleled in South America.

The Peruvian art is one of the most varied in the world. Its diversity, colors and creativity give him an unparalleled appeal.

The exhibition, Unique in the world, brings together large-scale works and over 1OOO characters on the theme of the Nativity.

Performed with as varied as surprising by the greatest Peruvian artists materials, the public is invited to discover original designs that reveal incomparable talents.

He can appreciate the genius of artists who have managed to keep the legacy of their ancestors came from funds of ages, combining the CNIB and Christian traditions.

The exceptional quality of all the parts has the sponsorship of the Ambassador of Peru in France, His Excellency Javier PEREZ DE CUELLAR. To make the show more lively and playful, two Peruvian artists work and explain their art to the public around a loom Peruvian sculpture Piedra Huamanga - marble - and making altarpieces.

One of them, Benjamin LOZANO Pizarro was recently decorated by the Minister of Culture of Peru for his work.

Access to the exhibition will be with an entry fee and the presence of a guide:

- € 4.50 for adults,

- 4 € for pensioners, large families, adult groups of 10 people,

- € 2 for job seekers with disabilities on presentation of the card, students and children between 10 and 18 school groups. -

Gratuities for guides of all groups. Admission is free for children under 10 accompanied by their parents.
