Mont saint michel marathon

It is in the heart of Mont-Saint-Michel bay that one of the most anticipated marathon of the year towards the end of May, when 5 000 French and worlldwide riders gather to participate in the race accompanied by a  multitude of the viewers who have come specially to encourage runners. The circuit has the particularity of being so flat that we can see the finish which is 42,195 kilometers futher from the start. The marathon leaves from Cancale and crosses several villages including Vivier-sur-Mer and Cherrueix before ending at the foot of Mont-Saint-Michel.

In addition to the main race there are 4 other courses offered : the Malouine, race which is reserved for women ; th Marathon des Loustics, reserved fo children ; the 10 km of Saint-Malo for beginners and finally the Duo-Marathon, which is relay race that is practiced by two and resume the same circuit as the main. For the duration of the event there is a village installed at the start of the race with several exhibitions.
