Tourism Nontron
Nontron is a French commune located in the Dordogne and Aquitaine.
This city is a sub-prefecture of the department located in the Green Perigord. It is in the middle of the regional park Périgord Limousin, so that visitors will encounter nature in all its splendor.
Long time the city seemed excluded due to the absence of major roads linking it to other major cities. Deouis, the city is well developed, and its location in the heart of the park makes it an asset. This is a place that is relevant to the nature, flora and fauna!
Activity is known for the city: its cutlery. Prduction the knife back to the Middle Ages. The most famous knife of this city is a pocket knife whose handle is wooden pyrographed. This activity explains that takes place every year in August, the feast of the knife.
Visitors will enjoy going to walk in the castle of Nontron in which there is a showroom where they can admire handicrafts.
