Marseillaise park
Between 1897 and 1899, industrial patron Aimé Gros Schlumberger asked the Parisian landscape architect Edouard André to create a public park that is "a place of leisure, but also education and introduction to botany"; it combines floral and several exotic species compositions.
The park is still decorated with a Renaissance well and a large fountain, a bandstand and a bench exedra copy of which sat Sarah Bernhardt in Theodora room.
