Festival of art history

The Ministry of Culture and Communication, National Institute of Art History and the Castle of Fontainebleau, organizing the third edition of the Festival of the history of art which will take place from Friday 31 May to Sunday June 2, 2013 at the Castle and the town of Fontainebleau.

The theme of the 2013 edition will focus on "ephemeral" to be the driver of all round and declined through 200 events and conferences over tables. Visitors will also find the annual appointment such as the Forum of Art History (overview of the news from the world of arts), the Book Fair and Art and Art & Camera magazines, Film Festival section.

After Italy and Germany, will be the guest country this year, the United Kingdom, forerunner in the history of museums, and maintains its heritage with a different ratio of ours.

Carrefour and public knowledge in free access, these three days will provide plenty of conferences, debates, film screenings, concerts, exhibitions, tours, lectures, in various places of the city, the castle and gardens Fontainebleau.
