American film festival of deauville


The American Film Festival of Deauville was created in 1975. It is, as its name says, dedicated to american cinema. It takes place each year in the International Centre of Deauville, in Normandy, during 10 days of September.

At the beginning, the festival was not competitive, but from 1995, it has become, and it awards today some of the most prestigious rewards of the american cinema. It is able to meet some of the most famous Hollywood celebrities there, and they are always awarded ; John Travolta, Julia Roberts, Clint Eastwood...
