Cremieu médievale

Around the second week of September, the city of Crémieu brings for 2 days the time of the Middle Ages to life for a festive weekend. During these two days, about 200 professionnals and nearly 300 volunteers put their talents to work to help put the whole city in turmoil in front of the beauty of the sets and animations. Activities include fighting games, jugglers, muicians, magicians and many others, there are also artists who wander the streets and anime with skits, pranks and fabliaux.

Some camps will be scrattered here and there where you will be shown the art of civilian and military life daily as well as non-choreographed fights with various weapons like shields, spears and long swords. A street is devoted to ancient craft such as manufacturers of  knit ribs, bowsmen, potters with earthen kilns, calligraphers and a multitude of others.

Yor young and old, there are educational workshops available. On Saturday evening, a huge banquet and a show will take place under the hall to satisfy your taste buds and for the pleasure of the eyes.
