International festival of garden in chaumont sur loire

Thirty artists and landscape artists from around the world meet every year in the area of Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, a small French town, to create beatiful contemporary gardens on a specific theme. During the several months of the exhibition, the installations of the gardens evolve to share several sets more magnificent ones than the other while keeping the objective of the festival in spirit : that the beauty of the garden reaches its paroxysm in autumn. But the month of June being the month of gardens, a visit before the beginning of the summer is perfect for those who want to enjoy the bloom.

Through the paths of the park, you can walk in a kind of open-air contemporary art museum. For those who want to better understantd the meaning of the work, there will be guided tours organized, and during part of summer, nocturnal visits can be made to enjoy the scenery with the light emitting diodes revealing incredible colors, reflections, unusual and mysterious atmosphere for the pleasure of the eyes.
