Market concerts in charolles : maude gratton

Although it is a magnificent specialists’ instrument, the Charolles organ is in no way intended only for an elite !   Since it was inaugurated in 2016, the Market Concerts have become a highly sought-after popular event.

Maude Gratton is one of the most brilliant young organists to emerge in recent years :  her command of all types of historical keyboards is stunning ...  harpsichord, organ, clavicord, fortepiano.  The foundations of her present career were laid in Poitiers with Dominique Ferran and she is now a well-known soloist as well as working with well-known ensembles such as « Il Convito » which she co-founded recently.

The scope of her CDs cover the entire history of music, from Matthias Weckmann (d. 1674), via Biber, Vivaldi, J.S. and W.F.Bach, Beethoven, George Onslow to our contemporary Martin Matalon.
