Market concerts in charolles : dominique ferran


Although it is a magnificent specialists’ instrument, the Charolles organ is in no way intended only for an elite !   Since it was inaugurated in 2016, the Market Concerts have become a highly sought-after popular event.

Dominique Ferran is one of those high-profile organists to whom we owe the present brilliant young generation, admirable for their understanding of the repertory and for their technique.  He is based in Poitiers but travels all over Europe for solo and ensemble concerts, and has recorded many widely-acclaimed CDs.

His programme in Charolles will be « At the height of the golden age of the organ :  1700 ».
