Installed in the castle of Cannes in Suquet, the museum of Castrates her arose in 1982 from the meeting of the museums of Cannes (collections of ethnology and primitive art of the whole world, and the Mediterranean antiques) and of the museum of the Fine arts (Provençal paints and cannoises of XIXth and XXth centuries).
