Nature tours in saline old

At the heart of the Camargue, a vast area of about 6,500 hectares, owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral, presents an exceptional natural heritage , now protected for future generations.

Between land and sea , large bodies of water, separated by small dykes covered with a bushy vegetation is remarkable landscapes. Iconic birds, Flamingos try every year to breed in these places , sometimes in a colony of 10,000 couples.

The natural evaporation of water until late summer shows mudflats which then attract a myriad of migratory birds (plovers , sandpipers , knights ... ).
